Limited time today, so none of my typical long-winded approach. Here are some headlines of note:

• Evangelicals are coming to some kind of consensus on the need for some kind of assimilationist approach toward immigration reform. It'll be interesting to see how this meshes with the rest of the conservative GOP base. 
• The ever-tone deaf Bud Selig found time to remind us all of what an awesome guy he is while announcing that Major League Baseball will not move the All-Star Game out of Phoenix in 2011. I feel like I should care more about this, but pretty much everything bothers me about the Diamondbacks already so, eh. 
• Breaking news: women are important to conservative politics.
• I'll have something to do in November: Sarah Palin is "writing" another book, this time a "celebration of American virtues and strengths"
